Great Pics Rafaele you did a great job many of us have had to do same thing to ours with floors. your paint looks tremendous , great work.Your Christine looks sweet! The 57' I sold was a Belvedere . I had bought 3 from a junkyard that now no longer exists , the one I own now also came from the exact same batch so thats why it was special to me. The one I sold your freind Matteo was actually the best one Ive had , it was very solid, I did kind a quickie paint job on it, and had the engine rebuilt, but I wound up selling it because I was in a bind.

I always wondered what had happened to to that car, it originally was Blue/White car, I dont remember if I told your freind but that same car came out in "Hot Rod Magazine" in the hidden treasures section, Id sent in pics of when I was pulling it out of the Texas hill country and they actually printed them in the magazine along with my story.heres a pic of it before I painted it-

The car sat for 30 years or so and needed resto but was not too rusty compared to many Ive had or many Ive seen, these cars can be real rough. Thanks for relaying info Rafaelle and sharing your Pics Italy looks Beautiful as well as your Christine, tell Matteo to join up in club too we'd love to see his build.

I know but the interior doesn't always has to be for it to be beautiful and it only needs to be movie correct if that is what any individual wants their 57/58 Plymouth to be.

An interesting story about your Christine. I also purchased a 1957 Plymouth Savoy V8 Sport Coupe from Clif Davis in Portland, OR in Jan of this year. The car needed some work in the trunk area, but the paint was good and the car was mostly rust-free. I've cleaned it up and have been taking it to shows. I have yet to see another 1957-58 Plymouth at any of the shows I've attended, event the big Good Guys event in Pleasanton, CA.

I received with the car a spare dash panel (120 mph speedo, etc) and the side trim, tail light assembies, head light quad assemblies, and the side trim (less the inserts) plus a set of '58 wheel covers, all in order to do a Christine clone. Don't think I'm going to do a Christine clone, so if anyone can use the above items, they my be available.

You might contact Clif Davis at 2088 Northeast 229 Court, Fairview, OR 97024 or phone 503-804-2457 (cell phone) or email clifdavis@clifdavis.org and see what happens. Good luck, and he probably has another Plymouth for sale by now. Best wishes, Furyfan.
