PostSubject: Bumper wing fitment   Wed Mar 13, 2013 3:11 am

Hey All!
Ive been lucky enough to score my self a full set of bumper wings for my 58!
Just wanted to ask if anyone can tell me the best way to locate the spot / position the hole that i need to drill (front and back) for the internal bolt that clips on to the bracket weldered inside the wings??

Does anyone have measurements or anything like that??
Cheers Martin.

The one bolt is a common, used on both the bumper and wing. To find the place to drill the hole for the second bolt, take a small ball of putty, and stick it inside the wing where the bolt would go. Next, spray paint over the putty, and set the wing in place. press inwards so the paint makes an impression on the bumper, and the mark left should give you an idea where to drill the hole.
