Nice letter car!!

I still have my aunt's '66 Newport coupe that she gave me years ago, with about the same mileage. They make nice road cars.

John must have been 20 years ago, I bought a Chryaler Newport 66 model, Had about 40.000 on it looked like new. I paid 600.00 for it. My mom had just wrecked her littl Maveric , so I picked her up in it and as we were going to my house she started looking the inside all over and she ask me what I wanted for it. Whatever I ask wasnt enough Hee! Hee! Well I let her have it for less then I paid. like nothing Very Happy I had money bACK THEN before I went on old age pension. Hee! Hee!

Well when she got home with it she called me and said she didn't want the car because the brakes were so touchy it scared her to death. So I ended up taking the power brakes off and she loved it. I think in 66 Mopar won an award for their power brakes Hee! Hee!

Ok Folks I decided to sell my 300L and while on EBay and the Foward Look Site an old Family Friend contacted me ASAP. His Father is a world class Engine builder for Mopars and some of you may know him "Herb McCandless". My Family has built engines with Herb since the early 70's.

Herb's 1 son is Mike and is a huge 300 fan owning several rare cars. Well he contacted me and bought the car sight unseen off my word about the condition of car. His brother Herb Jr arrived last night at 12:30am from NC picked up car and arrived home 9am this morning. Well here is what Mike though of the car and my honesty......

"I will do a full write up with pictures later, but I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE CAR. The car was better than described. I've bought quite a few cars over the past 13 years, around 50ish, this was the only time I can remember getting a car that was better than described. Very Very Very pleased. The car is LASER straight, cranked up on the first turn of the key. My dad is at ocean city maryland for a car event this weekend. They're coming home tomorrow, I can't wait to surprise my parents with it. My father owned a 300L in 1965 when my parents got married. My mom said she used to sit on the console vs the seat when riding around. The joke being that the letter L was going to be permanent on her butt from riding that way. I've looked for a 300L for years. I bought one 5 years ago, the car was "restored" with a new motor and it blew up 10 miles after I got it. The car was a mess. The interior, for being original, is truly amazing.

The great part, is dad was just talking about how he wished we had a convertible to ride around in. So excited. I can't wait to get it into the shop and show pictures. I'd have ZERO issue buying any car from Christine's Revenge. 110% super great seller. Who met my brother was 1230am last night to load the car up in a parking lot, that's dedication!!"

This is posted on the Foward Look if you care to see it!

So happy I can make a deal and everyone is happy in the end and always remember that honesty is best!
