IMO not too shabby for a 48-yr-old car - I've put many fun miles on her!

That's beautiful too Roy. Really nice! I love those big old Pontiacs too. I almost bought a 66 Bonneville 2 door ht many years ago. It was an aqua/turquoise color and solid as a rock too...but the driver side had been hit at one time and it was very wavy. The guy even wanted to trade it for my 49 Plymouth but the issue with the driver side really bothered me. Sure would like to see more photos of this one too if you get the chance...Thanks,
Bob

That's a nice Catalina, I've got a friend who is big into Pontiacs so if your looking for parts, he might be able to help.

Roy, this car rocks. These have such an awesome, aggressive stance. The end over end head lights really take the cake! Would love to see other pictures of the car.

thanks for the compliments guys - and thanks 57belv for the heads-up on possible parts source, I'll keep that in mind! even in its unrestored condition I agree this car does rock, and I'd say that even if it was someone else's car-- the styling and engineering that went into this is definitely in the "they don't make em like that anymore" category of so many older cars... I don't have a lot of digital pics of it, but I'll post a couple interior pics - please note the one of the odometer is from a few years ago when she flipped to 167,000 (yes, the 2nd time around), this car is a driver  :Idaho Bob:   Smile

Wow! 167,000 m. and she still looks that good huh? The stacked headlights and split grill were classic on these full-size Pontiacs...The 1/4's were a mile long too. Do you have the skirts for it? I know some guys like the skirt-less look better. I agree if one is going for the sporty look. If it's the lead-sled look then skirts look better. I think with having the raised white letter tires/bare rims, no skirts is way better. Looks like you're ready to take it to the stock car races. Really sharp Roy!
