I understand fellow hobbyist Big Joe C has obtained the definitive records from Bill & Ed's Junkyard which contains the Vin#s of all of the cars used in filming the movie christine all the way down to the crushed cube car. There was also a video interview from what I understand. Again, this is Joe's private property and whether or not it will ever be made public is up to him.

"Joe Caldwell
Today I received what I feel is the one of the greatest pieces of Memorabilia regarding the movie "Christine"......

Thanks to my friend Dave in L.A. For making friends with Ed Vickroy of Bill and Ed's Dismantlers in Fontana Ca. who is the original owner and purchased all of the "Screen Used Movie Cars" from the Producer of the movie at the end if the filming. I also have a video interview, other pictures and a clear explanation of what transpired at Bill and Eds in 1984 from Ed himself.

The guessing and talk is no longer regarding these iconic 58 Plymouth's as I now have the original 1984 ledger of Bill and Ed's that list every car by their VIN numbers!!!!!!! This Log will be at every show my "Christine" and I attend and if you feel you have a real Screen Used Car.... Please bring your VIN number and we can verify.

PS... The page photographed are cars received prior to the "Christine's" which are listed on the bottom half of that page and next page as well. I will not give numbers out however I will check for anyone who asks. How many are ..........?? More of the story down the road

This, as Si Robertson would say is what we in the business call a "game changer". What does this mean for our hobby? It's no secret this has been a sore subject. I personally feel Joe has gone above and beyond to set the record straight and put an end to the many rumors, accusations and questionable claims  that continue to plague the hobby. Hopefully, Joe's documentation will be shared and put an end to the issue once and for all. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Awesome! What an archeological find for the hobby!
Maybe now the truth behind the car at the Volo auto museum can be ascertained. Suspect

Very true Chris. The best thing IMO would be for people to privately contact Joe to verify a car they believe to be authentic...especially if they are considering purchasing one. Regardless, it will give the hobby the standard by which to verify authenticity that it has lacked all these years.
