Still having issues with Photobucket, which is why I have not posted much recently. Wayne gave me some items to try, but am still a bit slow with the whole computer thing.

John,

The link address you posted is the DIRECT address of the picture on the web. It is not the image code to make it appear on the forum. Here's a screenshot of your photobucket. On the right you'll see four links. The DIRECT link is wrong. Use the one at the bottom where the red arrow is pointing called IMG. Copy and paste that link and the pictures will show up......

I was having trouble with the ads that are above the links box. Somehow they were interfering with copying the img code. When I tried to right click on the link to copy it, I would get a message about adobe flash player. I noticed if I clicked on the ad box above the links, the same message would appear. When I disabled adobe flash player I could then copy the links but couldn't play video content. So now I copy the links that are listed under the photos in my photobucket library list. I wonder, has anyone else had similar trouble?

The sure fire way to copy correctly is to first left click and highlight all the text of the link. Then on your keyboard press and hold ctrl and press the letter c for copy. Then go to the forum and place the cursor where you want to place the picture. Then press and hold ctrl and press V for paste. Click send when your done with your message and your good to go.

A big thanks to Wayne for helping me out on this. I used to click on the photo to add photos, but Photobucket must have changed things. It's actually easier now!

Yes John I forgot to mention that photobucket has changed their layout hence the different location of the correct link. If memory serves me right the Forward Look uses the direct link to show pictures...Smile

Your right Wayne about Internet Explorer being crap, I've had so much trouble with it. I just tried a little experiment with google chrome. I went to my photobucket site, opened a photo, and clicked on the links to the right of the photo and guess what? It worked, where in IE I can't get the link to copy.

Stick with chrome... fewer issues.
