Ive painted a few. Some ive painted with a small spray gun and some with a rattle can. Ive never done any for myself but ive painted them for others. Painting them is half the fun! Why don't you paint them?

Kera.. I think you should paint it! Smile Just think of the feeling of the accomplishment! I could walk you step by step. I know you could do it.
What color is it now? If it was me I would repaint the whole thing. Is this something that is very old diecast?

Hey Kera! Smile That's an awesome looking diecast car you have there. If you wanted it touched up your best bet will be to find someone with air brush skills. Its very hard to touch up the car and have the touch up match the older color. So color matching is going to be a hard part of this. I hope this helps! Smile

I think I would leave it also. It keeps the nostalgic of the piece. Touching it up I think might make it look wrong. I think I would just buy the lights too. I love it though I think its very cool. Cool

Nice find!

It sounds like the tricky part will be not to have your dad find out! Are you cautious of using your credit card because you don't trust the site your buying the lights from? The best method of payment to me is PayPal. That honestly is golden with me. Smile

Kera you can buy temporary credit cards from places like Walmart where you can put a certain amount of money on them so sites cannot steel your information
