At the Toys for Tots (semper fi) car show at Johnson's Corner Farm, Medford, NJ:

Jim Vertolli's dad was the Pontiac dealer in Vineland so when this car was returned about 1965, when Jim was in high school, he became its third owner. Named Ellie now after a granddaughter. Stolen and recovered once.

Very nice Poncho, although I would be surprised if it was a factory tri-power. There seems to be a lot more now than were ever produced by Pontiac division.

Very cool 58 Serge...Thanks for posting these photos. Seldom seen classic here...I'm storing a (friend's) 57 Star Chief in my garage for the winter. Quite a difference from one year to the other. I forgot how much a 58 Pontiac resembles a 58 Chevy too.

My pleasure. Yeah, from a distance it's easy to confuse the two: twin headlights (I love them) and even the same roof design.

Too bad that 57 star chief wasn't at your house when I stoped over. Would have loved to see it. I really love the old Pontiacs
