A date which will live in infamy! Pearl harbor day. Let us remember the brave American souls lost on that day and in all the conflicts they fought in, and let us give thanks for the fighting men and women who served and defended this nation. Thank You!

Very nice post! Its good to remember those of past and present that have fought for our country. Its so easily forgotten. Even today we live in very unsettled times so its always good to have our troops in our prayers. Those military taps still get to me..One just can never get use to them..
God Bless to our Vets. and current service members!

We have so much to be thankful for. It's a shame we forget so easily and take so much for granted.

Thank you God for our great nation and all the brave American men and women that were there at Pearl Harbor 73 years ago. Thank you for bringing us to victory in WWII, the war our country was thrust into that fateful day and ultimately...the triumph over such a great evil. We enjoy the fruits of this victory to this day. Help us never to forget and to be ever grateful. In Jesus' Name, Amen

I appreciate this reminder Chris.

Bob

Its sad how many don't remember when or how this happened. I bet there are a lot that don't even know anymore who all was involved.

I heard a woman once say that it wasn't our war and we shouldn't have been involved! I just about burst a vein when I heard that.

Very little attention is given to the history of our great country. I sometimes wonder what has happened.. Its a shame in my mind. So many changes in the attitude of people. The little things in life have fallen. Family values have changed. the list just goes on and on!

I think it has a lot to do with the fact that we as a society are too far removed from those events, it's like ancient history, plus the huge influx of people who have no attachment to this nations history doesn't help either.
