Anyways, thinking about it I wonder if it could be possible to rig like hydraulics to actually 'pop out' dents for example Laughing . Hmm… something to consider anyways Smile

I've learned not to say "there's no way that can be done". It seems like there are no limits anymore. While it may not be done in our lifetime who knows what lies ahead. It sounds like cars will be driving themselves pretty soon too. I hope it's after I'm done driving though.

Only problem I see with Comp-controlled cars is, they could be hacked. So, yeah. Though I do find driverless/autonomous cars interesting, that could be a concern.

Futurists in the '50s were talking about electric self-driving cars. Maybe like picture phones that have cameras for viewing screens, the technology's been around a while but, because of privacy, people didn't want it. Except for video phones now: webcams and online messaging make it an option they can turn off.

Did anyone here ever get to experience the Ford (that came out a few years ago) that parked itself? I remember seeing ads of it parallel parking itself and thought that was quite amazing...I don't think it caught on...

I thought I've seen "active park assist" on a few different vehicles now.

I think a few have park assist now and I think its still pretty spendy feature so that might be why it hasn't caught on. I just don't know if I would like it or not.. I like to feel in control of my car. But the day is coming..where we might just be like the Jetsons! Smile
