PostSubject: Sport tone inserts   Thu Feb 12, 2015 2:43 pm

Hello. Can anyone please help me with locating silver sport tone inserts for my 58 Plymouth two door.  Good quality after market items is what I am looking for. I just recently heard of your club and am excited, this will be a great resource! I am not the most computer smart person and don't even have one at home yet (yes, I hear about that all the time!) so some times it may take me a couple of days to get back to emails, etc.  But I usually check regularly. If anyone knows who makes or sells this it would be a great help to me. Please let me know and thank you.

This looks like a great site for 57 and 58 Plymouth fans!  I cant wait to check it all out, pretty cool!

Hello Marek welcome to the CCC. We're more than just a site we're a club! Lot's of great people and resources. As for inserts, the best on the market are made by Marcel Poulin in Canada. Fantastic aluminum inserts. He is strocker470 on ebay or 58cunningham here on the forum. message him for price and availability.

I totaled her about 4 years ago. I passed out at high speed. side swiped a tree, took down a utility pole and went air-borne into a tree. My chest broke the steering wheel. She is sitting at my daughter's house. I did get another '57 with a 440 in it. I'm not sure if I will put the hemi in "Tootsie" or just build up the 440. Thanks for asking.

Glad you recovered and were able to find another car, that looked like a terrible accident!

And seeing the steering wheel, I can only imagine how you were feeling afterwards. Have you fully recovered?

I have recovered from the accident, but have a bad couple of years. Had stomach surgery, two hernias repaired, dislocated my shoulder twice, had a knee replacement that didn't work. Getting older sucks. Maybe this spring I'll get to work on Tootsie. Thanks for asking.

Well hopefully this year will be a better one! Getting older certainly does have it's detractors but with the bad there has to be good as well. Having something you enjoy to focus on is beneficial. I would like to see some pics of Tootsie if you get time to post some. Very Happy

Clicked on Marcel's ebay listing, looks like he only has one set. Does anyone know if he plans on making more?

Does anyone have the vinyl ones? They look great but I would probably rather have the aluminum.

I can't message 58cunningham because of post count... sigh...

Someone has his email?
