As much as I'd like a(n) Fury/Belvedere/Savoy of '58 sometime, what other cars out there could work/fit a Christine role?
Asking because I may have to compromise…
dual-headlamps, fins...

Did some such [compromising] with 'my' "KITT" camaro; V6 instead of V8. no mail slot. However, his rims and spoiler are already near-perfect for KITT's body - came that way.

There's many people out there that don't know any better and when they see most anything that's red with fins they say "Hey! There's Christine." But once you know better, I wouldn't think there'd be anything else that would fit the role.

Heck, I wonder how many people have called a red 57 chevy "Christine".

No compromise, save or buy a project.  P.S.: The book Christine was a 4 door! Marc P.P.S.: Here is a sample:

If compromise is what is needed I would go with a four door. Those look awesome fixed up right! And to be honest your not compromising at all. Just adding a couple of extra doors! Just look at the one Wayne did. Amazing car! Wink

I suppose there's always the option of customization to make a old car look more Christine.

I'm sure there are a few boneheads who've called a red '57 Chevy Christine. She's sort of the anti-'57 Chevy. For us there are no substitutes. Re: the Plaza in greater Nashville, wow. Christine meets "Crime Story." If she were local, I'd get her. Won't buy a car unseen and undriven, and how much does shipping cost?

I guess I'm asking for a list or something of cars with fins/dual headlights ... Neutral
