GREAT Pictures Bob! Smile You have two very nice looking cars there! I get garage envy when I see that big garage too! LOL!

BTW, your property is big enough for us to build our post apocolyptic compound once society breaks down! The glass is always half full at Bob's! LOL! Laughing

You Know: I am starting to like these 'green' cars! The 4 door hardtop on Craigslist is nice too. Marc.

It looks like some nice cars showed up to the car show...
My favorite car that I see is your car, Bob, your green '58.
On the 2nd to the last photo I see that some of the cars that were pictured parked next to your car in above photos have now disappeared... Did your green "Christine" scare the other cars away or something? Very Happy

I also noticed that in some of the photos of the car show, there was also some new cars as well...
That's what I dislike, new cars being at a classic car show. I have went to some car shows here in Idaho, and I have found more new cars than classic cars! It was almost like I was at one of those new car dealerships! I just couldn't believe it! Mad Cause, you know, I didn't go to the classic car show to find NEW CARS! Mad I think that classic car shows should have a policy that says that no car under 20 years old should be in the car show...
Like in the movie Christine, when Arnie is getting ready to buy Christine-
"You know, Dennis, this car is 20 years old, I mean, that makes it officially an antique."
Yes, I think that only car antiques should be allowed to enter into the car show...
Just my own personal opinion. Very Happy

Thanks for your comments everyone. I like taking the photos...and enjoy sharing them with you all even more.

Wayne, I'm very blessed to have a nice big garage no doubt! I made a big mistake though when I had it built. Should have built it taller so I could get a lift in there. Need one now more than ever.

Marc...the green is growing on me too. Green Christine is way cool. She's just "full of bugs" at the moment. I'm amazed that the car is roadworthy!Laughing

Jackie...I can't agree with you more. New cars really detract from the classics at the cruises/shows. We have one show here that has a "25 years and older only" rule. They call themselves an antique car club, so they can do it without creating an uproar. They simply do not have a "class" for the newer cars. But all the rest don't do anything about it and very few have classes at their shows. What really upsets me is when the judges pick a new car over a beautiful old classic. It happens a lot.

Glad you all enjoyed...you're all welcome!

Bob

Yes I agree.
You are lucky that you have a car show there that has set down some rules against letting in new cars. Very Happy
Yes, it upsets me as well that the judges pick a new car over a beautiful old classic. Those judges, I think, just have simply no taste of what a classic car is and what isn't. We have a car show here that calls itself a classic car show, but lets in a whole bunch of new cars, the judges also pick the new cars too.
My dad has entered his classic cars into this show, but has never won cause the judges pick the new cars or the cars in that show that the judges pick that I think have absolutely no taste in what a classic car is and what isn't.

When I actually do get my "Christine" car, I will most likely enter her into the car show that I have been talking about here, but I will be very surprised if she wins, unless new judges come into the picture that have more taste of what a classic car is. Very Happy
Oh, by the way, when I actually do get my car, I will be sure to take pictures and post them here so that all of you can see. Very Happy But I first need to figure out on how to post pictures here. Smile
