PostSubject: Plymouths in old movies   Mon Aug 03, 2015 8:13 am

There is probably already a topic like this, but I could not find it, so, here's mine.

I recently came acros this old movie; 'Attack of the 50 Foot Woman'.

Now this movie isn't worth watching for my opinion, accept for all the cars in it!

At 1.50 we see a '58 Imperial and at 4.20 we see a 1958 Plymouth police car, both can be seen several times during this movie.
At 37.03 we see a 1958 Plymouth Suburban and it looks like it's being trashed at 42.00, but a closer look shows an older car from a different model.
At 47.40 we see another, or the same, 1958 Plymouth.
And at 49.25 we finally get to see Christine! ;-)

enjoy!

I tried watching this movie but for some reason it looks like there's a consistent double image throughout!? Is it just me or does it look that way to you (all) too?

I'm sure I've seen this movie before. I always watched the 50's B Horror movies on Saturday afternoon as a kid. Still enjoy them now too...especially with the all 50's cars.

Bob

No it is not just you Bob.
I see that this has very poor quality as well... I can barely even watch it! It seems like there is a reddish-tint over the black/white movie and it also seems like that double-image as you were talking about Bob. Very annoying...

But same here Bob- I also like to see movies that have a '58 Plymouth in them...
What I usually do to find a movie that has a '58 Plymouth in it is I go on Google, type in "1958 Plymouth in movies", go on Google Images, see the photos of the cars, click on the photo, go to the website photo was from.
A movie car website that I have found during this process is here:

Very good website... Shows a certain type of car that you searched for that was shown in the movies. Shows the car and the movie/TV show that the car has appeared in.
Another link to same website:

Here I searched on the website for 1958 Plymouth and the website showed me all movies/TV shows the 1958 Plymouth has appeared in. It includes the photo of the car. Very Happy
You will be amazed- I have seen some of these movies/TV shows and I didn't notice the car until I looked here. Now I will have to watch some of these movies/TV shows again to see the car as I am watching the movie! Very Happy

Ok I will do that.
I haven't even seen the movie, Herbie the Love Bug, yet so I guess I have a good reason to watch it now... Smile
Will be sad watching the '58 Plymouth get smashed though... Sad I have seen enough of the '58 Plymouth's get smashed up after watching the movie Christine, not that I love the movie Christine any less though! Very Happy

If you are having trouble watching the movie posted here just go to settings and turn off the 3D option. That way your eye balls wont fall out trying to watch it! LOL Smile
