I love how the trunk is molded into the wings on this car. This car screams "REBEL" to me. It's definitely growing on me! Smile

How we celebrated Earth Day: cruising the streets locally and doing 60 (motorvating) on I-95 (booze run to Delaware) with our baby's 361-c.i. V8 literally blowing smoke at yuppies' Priuses, which people won't be restoring in 50 years.

Great news: the house next door has a garage available. The big question, literally, is will my nearly 18-foot long car fit in this 18-foot long garage?

Measured it; it should work. My neighbors have a little real-estate business; they accepted my application. Soon Miss Edsel will be coming home.

She's home, garaged in view of my living room. The tenant parking isn't a big problem; often the driveway's clear. Hopefully the resident landlord will ask them to be considerate as he said he would. No hard feelings with the old garage landlord; we were month-to-month and he said we're even and congratulations. I'm now in a year lease. No more futzing with an awful car cover from Advance Auto Parts. Life is pretty good.

The show was small; there wasn't much going on at the festival next door. All I got was a participation trophy. Got to talk to a few people. And use some driving skills getting off the field.

More nasty neighbors. One of them yelled at me for leaving a note on his car. The one who was parked squarely in front of the garage door all Sunday morning. I was minding my business today, having just parked the car, when he came at me.

How hard is this to have fixed? Tried to contact a local classics body shop and was blown off.
