PostSubject: Carburetor Repair Kit   Mon Feb 12, 2018 6:50 am

Hello,

I am looking for a Carburetor Repair Kit ^^

Here is the carburetor, more recent than the car:

and the original announcement :

"1966-1980 CHRYSLER CARTER TYPE 2bbl CARBURETOR fits 273-318c.i. V8's pt#180-5624

YOU ARE LOOKING AT A "NEW" CARTER TYPE 2BBL MODEL "LOW TOP" CARBURETOR FROM VAPEX, A LEADER IN PRECISION REMAN CARBURETORS.

Fits: 1966-80 CHRYSLER'S  w/273-318ci 8cyl engine that use a model BBD 2bbl.

(NOTE: NEW UNIVERSAL CARTER "TYPE")."

if anyone can help me to find the correct model scratch

thanks NYBOB

So wait, are you looking for a kit for this exact carb, or for an older version?

Where do you live? Napa auto should be able to get a kit for you. I just picked mine up from them yesterday for my 57. You really have to be careful though when ordering because pretty much all of the major auto parts computerized listings are wrong on a lot of the applications. But if you know what car your carb is from, you should be able to obtain a rebuild kit. Is there a metal tag attached to your carb with a number on it?

the carburetor does not have a metal tag

"UNIVERSAL CARTER "TYPE" 1966-1980" , I don't know which car it's riding on
