PostSubject: Tmason3 introduction   Wed Feb 15, 2012 11:42 pm

Hi i'm tmason3 (Tracey Mason). Obviously i'm new to this site. I am as much of a car guy as i can be without actually owning or driving a car. However my hobbies are car related(Drawing sketches, buildingmodel kits, and reading). Recently I've decided to try my hand at writing a story just to see if i can do it. coincidentally i have my own Christine like parts to the story. Remember it's only a creative excercise and not going to be published. I have to be honest if i did publish the story as is i'd be accused of some type of infringement. I do however have a good common sense about me . If the story were to be published it would be neccessarily edited so as not allow any legal issues to arise over content. Getting away fro the topic of my story,i've always been a car fanatic. I've always had amental list of cars i like the most. High on that list is Christine. I once attempted a series of sketches regarding Christine. Ther were three to be exact. One was the original Christine. The other two were purely fantasy. The second of the three was Christine Rides Again. That specific car was based on a 1963 plymouth fury. The third and last was a futuristic version that i had thought of. That's it for the drawing part of my hobbies right there. As far as building model cars i only wish i could find a replica of Christine. Iwould even like to fin d a diecast car or two of Christine. For some reason it seems ver hard to find replicas of 1958 Fury's. As far as my reading hobby i've taken to re-reading the novel of Christine. To me it's still better than the movie.

Welcome to the club. You can find die cast all different colors of 58's on ebay. Do a search on 1958 Plymouth and you will find them. Don't be afraid to join in the discussions and ask questions.

Hi Tracey welcome to the club. Will we get to see your art work? Jim is right about there being both models and kits of the 1958 Plymouth on ebay. Even a large Christine with working lights.

Hi Tracey & Welcome To The CCC.

Interesting, it would be cool to see your work.

We have another artist in the Christine Car Club, Ian but he hasn't been on here for awhile.

The thing with posting my art is that right now i'm using only a laptop computer and not a desktop. It's probably likely that i'll have to invest in a desktop computer in order to acurately post my artwork as i don't think that you can use a laptop to post artwork.

I use Photobucket but there are many other image sites online including Flickr & Imageshack can be uploaded by desktop & laptop.

I'm always on my laptop.
