Thanks!

I usually start out with a picture in my head and then build that around functionality.

like using chromed Mustang style shock tower caps that kind of visually triangulated with the 3 core aluminum radiator. Plus it allowed me to use KYB gas shocks, and get much better cooling capacity!

With the beetle I was kind of limited in what I could do because of the movie accuracy, which was a fun adventure in itself, but I'm having a blast with this car because I can be creative and do what ever I like!

While staying tasteful of course. 👅

So I had a small epiphany the other day watching Top Gear BBC that resulted in a name I believe I'm satisfied with.

Jezebel, or Jezza for short.

I've heard James May Call Jeremy Clarkson that a few times before and it just kinda stuck 👅

So because I'm nearly out of money and already dipping into my insurance and reg cash to finish this dang thing, here's my idea for a throttle.

Jezebel is a great name. I like it!

Cars have a funny way of being expensive, don't they? Here's to hoping your throttle setup works like a charm! Very Happy

Hi Kyle...I remember you from a few years ago. You were working on your Bug at the time...getting her ready for paint. Anyways, I just enjoyed reading your thread. I see you have a nice old Falcon now...and you're already putting your good hands to good use on her. Jezebel will be perfecto when you're done with her I'm sure. Best wishes in your continued efforts and I certainly look forward to more photos! The hand throttle and gear shift lever...very cool Cool

I used to work with a guy in the early eighties that drove an old Chevy pickup. He had a Budweiser shifter knob, and a great big Budweiser racing decal in the back window. He often got pulled over for drinking and driving, and couldn't seem to figure out why.
