Does anybody make seat covers for these cars ? I would like to buy a set of covers and install them myself. Would save me some $$ and I've recovered seats before. My car came with a set of green and white covers brand new in the trunk, I need black or black and red though. Somebody must make um I can't seem to find um though. Thanks !! John D

John give SMS a call. I think they not only sell the material, they also sell the door panels from what I was told. Good luck.

Did you check with Wayne John? He had the whole job done and it looked beautiful. You could also check Chaney's thread on his upholstery. Said he had it all done for only $500. Hope this helps.

I tried SMS they have the fabric. I want plain black vinyl to keep with the sleeper theme I got going on. Who is Wayne ?? $500.00 price would make me giddy Smile

HI John. Wayne is the web master.
I found Chaney's thread on our old forum for you. It may be the answer your looking for but I just realized he made his own panels. He is very talented but not with us any more.

SMS only makes seat covers ready to install if you sent the old ones to them. And you need a lot a lot a lot... of patience. I had to wait 22 months for finished door panels and the material for seat covers. After 18 months they told me that they have no pattern for the seat covers and need the old ones. I refused.

Andy I heard they are very slow as well. I only bought my tweed fabric from them and it took just two weeks. Guess fabric alone is faster?

From all that I have heard, fabric is no problem if it is stock material. But I cannot recommend them for finished parts. The delivery time is unreasonable. The door panels and the other stuff is definitely beautiful. But I have also a lot of work to adjust the panels because all joints for the clips are some inches offset. My advice: Order the fabric and do it all by yourself or let it be done by a local shop. Provided you have an old interior to take the patterns from.
