PostSubject: Good Friday   Fri Mar 29, 2013 4:00 pm

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

I wanted to take a few moments to remind you of the significance of Good Friday. My prayer is that you already believe and will take a few moments today to reflect what a tremendous sacrifice God the Father provided for us. And the cost for His obedient Son Jesus Christ...to lay down His life for us. It wasn't the nails that held him on the cross that day...it was His love for us. If you are not a believer, please consider how Christianity is still very much alive today...nearly 2000 years after the fact. Think about this: The first disciples and 12 Apostles would never have been martyred for a myth. And even if somehow they did, "this myth" would have died out after a few short years because there was no true roots for it to take hold. Each and every one of us will have to answer to a Holy God some day when we die. We will be judged on our belief or disbelief. Did we receive His free gift of salvation provided by His Son Jesus that day on Calvary? Or did we ignore it and sweep it aside as an old myth?
I pray that true Christians would take Christ's crucifixion with serious reflection and gratitude and that the ones that don't know yet would come to a knowledge of our Creator's loving, saving grace. May God richly bless you all this Good Friday.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

The New Testament has several eye witness testaments attesting that something miraculous happened 2000 years ago.

Those testaments would be enough to stand up in a Court of Law these days;

have a nice Easter everyone,

personally I believe there's something more to life than what we have here, I'm not sure what it is, but I'm glad it's there.
