Hey all.

Im looking into restoring my parcel shelf and i want to keep it looking as original as possible!
I want to install new speakers but i dont want the modern look so i want to get hold of original speaker grills.

Can anyone help me out to locate sum or at least a pic of them.

I have a friend here that has a 59 Fury who has them!!

Cheers MARTIN

I've seen some people use these:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-NOS-50s-60s-6-X-9-MUSIC-NOTE-SPEAKER-GRILLS-COVER-CHROME-AUTO-ACCESSORY-/190823261765?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3APlymouth&hash=item2c6df3e645&vxp=mtr

I thought these looked more authentic so bought a set for my Christine:

Actually Crissy, to be honest, I didn't use either.

I invested in a rather large music system.

When building it, Donnie the speakers and Amp in the trunk.

It's sooo loud speakers aren't needed.

By the way, my car is now complete.
I should be collecting it from my mate Clive (who's being working on her for me as soon as the weather picks up).

I'll post an update soon.

Way to go Lee. Trunk has a lot of room in there. I love music as I drive. Are you set up for CD or something newer?

Dance Party I do not have a big sound system in Redsled but I do not have any speaker covers over the speakers , My package tray and dash are Tuck and Roll and I have plenty of sound come through it. Works god for me. Smile Yep always loved music, The same music ever since I was a young teen ager . Rock and Roll that is the only way to go. bounce Dance Party

I bought a refurbished 58 Radio from eBay which is connected to a CD player etc. in the glove box.

The amp and speaker etc are on a purpose built box in the trunk.

The Radio has an MP3 connector wired into it which I thought was cool....

however, when I turned the Radio on after collecting her from the Port where she came into the UK, smoke billowed out of the dash board.

I repair and maintain MRI scanners (and machines called Cyclotrons) for a living, so a radio shouldn't be too difficult for me, but I may just bypass the radio and get it to power up the CD.

That's something for me to Toy with when she arrives here.

Lee do you have or want the movie rock and roll songs on a CD? I burnt some for the club and Bobby made some labels for them.
