Hey folks, im now looking for Christine Style mirrors,
i bought a set of mirrors on ebay but they were delivered without the mounting bracket or rubber gasket, So id rather just buy a new set, it doesn't have to be steel, plastic would do fine... as long as its a reasonable knock off to the originals.

I believe that JC Whitney in Chicago sells those mirrors, although in plated plastic rather than metal.

Yes Lee, JC Whitney is correct as John said although sometimes you can find them on EBay. I will keep an eye out for you.

Seems JC Whitney no longer list those mirrors.

I have a new unused pair without the mounting bracket if anyone is interested. No reasonable offer refused.

The mirrors that were used in the movie were made by Roberk model 330. Depending on when the ones you find were manufactured they are plastic or chromed steel. I have found that the older Nos ones on found often on ebay have a much nicer finish then the newer ones being produced overseas...They look like sprayed on chrome and are a bit dull. Go after the older ones when you find them, search ebay (roberk 330)

Chris, I think those are the ABS type plastic kind. They don't look bad though in the pictures and the price isn't shabby either. I never like ordering things from across the pond. Customs here is very very slow. Ive had things sit in customs for weeks! :-/

Yeah they're the plastic ones but it's probably what I will go with. At least if it gets whacked it shouldn't damage the sheetmetal, just bust the mirror. There's a seller on ebay that has some nos plastic ones that are located domestically.

True true Chris. Im sure they would be fine. Ive used the plastic ones before on other cars. Id buy them again. But I would most likely buy them from someone here in the US. Smile

Well I got my mirrors, now I have to decide which one to go with. I will only be using one since I have pre-existing holes in my drivers door and I don't really want to drill the other side.
