PostSubject: God's Perfect Plan   Sat May 10, 2014 4:24 pm

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

The Bible reveals that God has a plan for every life and that if we live in constant fellowship with Him, He will direct and lead us in the fulfillment of His plan. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

God does not reveal His plan through fortune tellers. astrologers, mediums or psychics. His perfect will is reserved for those who have trusted Christ for salvation. He shares His secrets only with those who are redeemed and transformed by the blood of Jesus Christ and who humbly seek His will for their lives (child-like humility as we learned in our last devotion).

Insight: You cannot know the will of God for your life unless you first come to the Cross and confess that you are a sinner and receive Christ as Lord and Savior. Once you do come to Him, you begin a whole new life--life not lived for your self but for Christ. From that moment on, God wants to show you His will. Whatever decisions you face today, commit them to God and ask Him to guide you--and He will.

Dear Father in heaven, I pray that those reading this (myself included) that have trusted Jesus as their Savior will grow closer to You each day by acknowledging You in all they do, so that You will direct theirs paths each day. I also pray that those reading this that haven't trusted Jesus as their Savior yet, will have the desire to do so right away so that they too can grow in You and know Your perfect will for their lives. In Jesus' Name, Amen

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
