Wayne, I honestly think the 60's ushered in a radical movement that was the beginning of the downfall of America. I just hope and pray it's not too late to turn it around. We need to turn back to our Father in heaven and worship Him in spirit and truth like multitudes of our ancestors did. Like our fore-fathers who formed this country with faith in Christ and Biblical principals.

Bob

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

I whole heartedly agree Bob. It's never too late though IMHO. Even after the fall of Rome and other kingdoms where no morality was the norm, people turned around and came back to Christ. Take your story about the woman who lived through Nazism and Communism for example. Oh, let's not forget the dark ages!

Still, I think people have to suffer and be brought to the brink in some instances before they realize where they went wrong.

The biggest hurdle today is recognizing the tools the enemy is using to corrupt humanity. Paul Harvey hit the nail square on the head with this one. As it stands right now we are still FREE to make our own choices. We have to "surgically" cut the cancer from our lives like Facebook, Main Stream Media Sensationalism, Inappropriate Television and any other outside influence being used against us. Fortunately in most cases it's a matter of flicking a switch.

Then comes Christ and making him the priority. Daily prayer followed by weekly worship will turn things around and help you see things even clearer. Spend time with your families and loved ones and realize that as parents we are responsible to raise up our children to know the Lord. That includes anyone who has any influence over a child.

Do these simple things and we as a society have a fighting chance. Keep chasing and worshiping the almighty buck and living for our own immediate self gratification and we're doomed.

You said it brother...Amen! This discussion reminds me of the song "People Need The Lord"
Did you ever hear that one?

I haven't heard that one Bob. One song that comes to mind is a song my 90 year old Grandmother played over the phone for me once with her tape recorder. Whenever I feel lost and alone in all the confusion and bombardment of life I listen to this....
