One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see! JOHN 9:25B

In the book of John, chapter 9 we can read about when Jesus gave a man who was born blind the physical ability to see. Soon after, Jesus also gave him spiritual sight revealing that Jesus was the Son of God. Without hesitation the man worshipped Him. The Pharisees refused to believe that the man had been blind and could now see, just as they did not believe that Jesus was their Messiah. Maybe to them Jesus just seemed too good to be true. They refused to move beyond the limits of their natural reasoning to accept that what they most desired was right before them. The One who embodied all their hopes had come, yet they did not recognize Him. They could not see.

Paul also taught the Corinthians about the inability to see spiritually. He said it was as if a veil covered the people's hearts so that their minds were dull. They did not have a revelation of the truth. "But," Paul said, "whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away" (2 Corinthians 3:16). Spiritually, we too were born blind. When we accept Jesus as Lord, our eyes are opened!

Insight: The Lord gives sight to the blind. Psalm 146:8A Can you see?

Dear God, Please open my eyes so I can see Jesus as my Savior and my light...in a very dark world. In Jesus' Name, Amen

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.
